The Permatex/Follow A Dream Team has completed the 2011 season with a 21-13 record (a solid .618 winning percentage), including five final-round appearances - one at the national event at Willow Grove Raceway in Mohnton, PA, one at the Jegs Allstars race, and three during divisional competition. Despite some dramatic ups and downs, the team came away with enough high place finishes to finish in 7th place among 79 ranked teams in the 2011 series.
The team made a very strong showing in the first five races of the season, placing in three semifinals, one quarterfinal, and one runner-up. In the team's final race of the year, the Division 2 Lucas Oil Series at the Silver Dollar Raceway, driver Todd Veney captured second place to lock in the 7th place finish.
Team owner and crew chief, Jay Blake, was very happy with the final tally and praised the team for its dedication and hard work, as well as its resilience in dealing with challenging equipment issues during the long 9-month racing season.
