The awards cover the categories of advertising and product packaging. The announcement was made by Lauren Mencarini, Art Director for the Permatex Marketing department, who noted, “We are very excited to be award recipients in both competitions once again. It is always nice to be recognized and given the broad range of entrants, we feel very honored to be among such distinguished groups.”

The entries are judged on how effectively they supported the company’s overall marketing strategy. 2008 American Graphic Design Awards
For more than four decades, Graphic Design USA has sponsored the American Graphic Design Awards, a national competition that spotlights areas of excellence for creative professionals. It is one of the biggest and broadest competitions, open to everyone in the community including advertising agencies, design firms, corporations, institutions, publishers and more. It is also considered to be among the most selective competitions of its kind. The 2008 competition received well over 10,000 entries nationwide, making Permatex’s accomplishments most notable.
