Threadlocker Gel is the latest innovation from Permatex, combining a unique chemical and packaging technology into one great product. It locks and seals, while preventing parts from loosening. Permatex Threadlocker Gel, in the Gel Twist™ applicator protects threads from corrosion, cures in about 15 minutes and performs in a temperature range of -65°F to 300°F.
Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue Gel reliably secures all metal nut and bolt applications 1/4" to 1" and locks threaded assemblies while allowing for disassembly with normal hand tools. High Strength Threadlocker Red Gel is more for permanent or heavy-duty jobs and is ideal for reliably securing all high-stress nut and bolt applications 3/8" to 1" and greater. It eliminates the need for a costly inventory of mechanical locking devices such as split ring lock washers, toothed lock washers, serrated flange nuts and ribbed flange bolts. Permatex Threadlocker Red Gel may require heat or special tools for removal.
