Permatex 1 Minute Gasket can be used in place of most cut gaskets in non-fuel applications and is superior to most OE gaskets. It can be used to form any shape or size gasket, provides a consistent seal on most surfaces, and even works on scored or pitted surfaces. 1 Minute Gasket protects against leaks caused by vibration and thermal expansion, and has been fleet tested for more than 5 million ‘leak-free’ miles in heavy-duty commercial use. Permatex 1 Minute Gasket is made with a long-lasting elastomeric rubber formulation that can withstand temperatures ranging from -75º F to 450º F (-59º C to 232ºC) continuous and 500º F (260º C) intermittent. It is sensor-safe and resistant to ATF, coolant, oil, and other shop fluids. Offered in a new handy-sized, 3 oz. can (Part No. 25229), Permatex 1 Minute Gasket provides enough material to replace two or three large cut gaskets. It comes with a detachable nozzle for precision gasket application and easier clean up and reuse.

Suggested automotive and marine applications include transmission pans, water pump housings, differential covers, oil pans and seals, valve covers, gearboxes, and thermostats.
