Friday June 9th & Saturday June 10th….The West Family headed to Columbia, Kentucky for the third race of the Outlaw Off Road Racing Series which was held at Pumpjack Off Road Park.   The courses were tight with steep climbs, but Derek’s Jimmy’s, Nitto Tire, KMC Wheels Ultra 4 buggie had smooth runs on both timed courses. BATAVIA, OH (April 27, 2017) – This weekend’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, IL and Macon Speedway in Macon, IL have been postponed. The Permatex sponsored Follow A Dream race team ran a career best 5.42 ET in qualifying at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, in Gainesville, FL March 16-19th. The team, lead by owner Jay Blake and Driver Phil Burkardt, overcame a number of trials before the weekend even started, including a broken-down tow trailer and a malfunctioning data logger. Ariel Biggs won the Young Gun Sprints race during the Sokola Shootout at Perris Auto Speedway last weekend, March 4-5th, 2017. Permatex is a main sponsor of Ariel Biggs and Ariel Biggs Racing. The victory was Biggs’ first checkered flag of the year, but she looks to build on the success throughout her 2017 campaign. Saturday, Feb. 25th, 2017….Derek West and his wife, Ashley and daughter, London attended the 1st Outlaw Off Road Racing Series event held at the Rock Creek Off Road Park in Booneville, Arkansas. This new Midwest series was created by several racers. It is based on a mix of skills in the woods, rocks, & hills in 2 timed laps for the best combined overall score.
